RELIANCE ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEM IN NEW INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Globalization today is very influential on the development of technology. Technology required to always go forward and further developed in order compete with the progress of the era. At this time, technology is one of the most important pillar in sustaining success in an era globalization. Information technology that can be accessed easily, providing flow of information very quickly and big. This will accelerate the speed social change in the working environment to become more dynamic and flexible. Ease of access will foster transparency in the environment work. In use of information systems, confidence in the system information itself is important. Given that belief, the individual will feel confident in performing their duties and will be maximal in the results. Confidence in the new information system technology in the evaluation individual performance needed by management to ensure that the system computer-based information that can be used in controlling the performance subordinates.
This study aimed to investigate the influence of technology systems new information and confidence in the new information system technology in individual performance. The analytical method used in this study using multiple regression with SPSS 12.0 calculations. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to a number of 120 questionnaires employees who use information systems technology at four universities which has been applying the new information system technology in the activities operations. Four universities are Islamic University of Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University, the University of National Development and STIE YKPN. Results from this study indicate that information system technology and new confidence in the new information system technology is effect or influence on individual performance.
